Estimated Salary / Stipend
- USD 2,500 – USD 3,000 per month

Training and Capacity Building
At the beginning of the fellowship, participants complete a structured Space Security 101 training course. This foundational programme introduces fellows to:

Research Responsibilities and Outputs
Fellows actively contribute to UNIDIR’s Space Security Programme through policy-oriented research and analysis. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing two policy fact sheets addressing space security challenges
- Contributing to the Space Security Lexicon, clarifying technical and policy terminology
- Developing a national space security profile to support global research initiatives
Under supervision, fellows may also propose an original research commentary for publication, offering an opportunity to contribute independent analysis to international policy discussions.
