Key Responsibilities
The Consultant will be expected to deliver high-quality outputs across several governance domains, including:
1. Policy Writing and Review
- Drafting new policies and updating existing ones to align with UNICEF-wide frameworks.
- Ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance across policy documentation.
- Collaborating with internal teams to gather insights and integrate operational realities.
2. Audit Coordination and Compliance
- Supporting follow-up actions on internal and external audit recommendations.

- Ensuring that audit learnings are shared and embedded across the PFP Division.
3. Risk Management and Governance
- Assisting in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks.

- Contributing to governance meetings, reports, and compliance reviews.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Preparing structured reports, briefs, and presentations.
- Supporting the organization of governance materials for senior leadership.

Required Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following profile:
- Advanced university degree in Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, Governance, International Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in policy writing, audit coordination, governance, or risk management.
- Proven experience within international organizations, NGOs, or United Nations agencies is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a talent for producing concise, clear, and high-quality documents.
